Spring Music Recitals

We kicked off Easter break with the kids' music recital. 

This was Freddy's first recital with his new cello. He wasn't nervous at all and he played without missing a note.

This was also Zita's first recital with her new clarinet. The sound is so beautiful and clear compared to her student clarinet; it filled the auditorium and this mummy's heart.

Last Weeks of Winter

At Freddy's class tea and show:

 He was right in front, dapper as could be in a blazer, lip syncing to a short opera piece. Afterward, he proudly showed off baby Seb and carted him around the playground.

Seb thought it best to take refuge in the pre-school playhouse.

How do I have such old kids? Who are these two, and what have they done with my babies?

 Freddy is always up for a good jumping shot.

 This little guy loves the beach, but we have one heck of a time getting him off the beach. The drag him off kicking and screaming scenario might get a little old by the end of Summer.

I think there was a little bit of swatting at each other mixed in with the affectionate parts.

 Seb tends to say "gentle, gentle" the more agressive he becomes as if to remind himself not to get scratched. 

I had a great birthday and even got a few pictures. I'll get them uploaded as soon as I see Pai again with the laptop. 

Pre- Birthday Frosting and Cake Adventures

Is there anything better than a child's excitement over a birthday? These two are busily making a cake, and shaping  fondant. The frosting is cooling in the fridge and Seb is toddling around with his tooshie on display saying "happy birthday to you."
